(old news - 11:11AM Monday Jan 28 2008)
Logitech's Harmony Remote software drops two directories in your home folder. One called "browser - logitech" and one called "Logitech".

Isn't this what ~/Library/Application Support is for? Why do I have to have my home folder junked up like this?

Windows apps do this too, and it drives me nuts.

I am so annoyed by every other application thinking its user-specific files belong in \(home)\Documents (Windows.) At least on OS X the applications have the courtesy of littering your home folder instead of the Documents subfolder of home. It's so annoying! That's what \(home)\AppData\ is for. Arg!

I noticed this too

Amen... I just bought myself one a few months ago and deleted those folders immediately after I configured the remote. I found it to be very annoying that they did that. Obviously whomever wrote the program doesn't understand OS X. The interface was pretty shitty too, not at all what I was expecting.
