ok. The game was giving me an error so I had to uninstall the game the hard way, via ashampoo uninstaller.
only now when I try to reinstall the game it gives me an error saying it's already installed.
Is there a way to force the install? What do I need to make sure is deleted to get the install?
Yes, the program file is deleted.
This is on windows vista

Ok. I found a way, using Ashampoo Uninstaller, to delete files from the installed files list (I guess the list that add / remove programs uses).
I did that and then tried to install again. It worked.

Also... isn't the uninstall file on the CD as well? Couldn't you have run it from there? |

| I was getting all kind of errors trying to do it with their setup. it was a mess. One error told me to reinstall the game while I was trying to uninstall it in order to reinstall.
