My downloads keep freezing after a period of time.

Just moved to Sugar Land about 2 weeks ago and I got Windstream, what I'm having a problem with is why my downloads (flash animations, youtube, web pages, regular download) keep freezing after 3-10 seconds of starting. Anyone have/had this problem? Figure out how to fix this?
