Boston Area RCN Install times for Student Returns

It's that time again - students are returning and I'm curious to know how long installs are taking and what the current offers are.

Thought this would be a good place to start even though I'm not sure if many students use this site.

I got an install date for September 2nd (moving in on the 1st) - but I called for a date at the end of July because I can't live without the internet for more than a day or so :P

$108/mo for 20/2 internet, every channel, one HD-DVR under a 2 year contract. Only a $150 ETF if I cancel, price without contract is $135/mo so it pays for itself in about 7 months.

Yay RCN! I get to ditch Comcast and its $160/mo for the same thing but slower internet!

Yep, all the premiums too. I called at the end of July because I wanted an install date as soon as I could get one before I moved in (Sept 1st) - the 2nd is good enough!
