Looks like FX HD and Speed HD will be rolling out nationwide by the end of 2009.

Nice!

dude, end of 2009 and you think that's ok? Are you kidding me? We are in 2008! Directv carries them, so does Fios...

We've had them in Nashville for several weeks now.
Speed seems mostly, if not all, in HD. FX doesn't seem to do stretch-o-vision at least.

Is it sad or funny that a channel called "speed" will take 16 months to roll out completely?

I've been watching wrecked on Speed HD on Demand.

But yeah, Chad's comment was pretty funny.

It's laughable, it really is. What's so surprising is that Comcast (NJ) was the clear leader in almost everything. They had the best High Speed Internet, the best On Demand, the most SD channel selections, and they had most of them first. Now they've just been leapfrogged and are looking very shoddy.

The city of Chicago has them now, while those of us in the suburbs still have to wait. I'm getting tired of Comcrap's bs.

End of '09 refers to the bandwidth starved systems, you know, those that are only 400-600 Mhz.

Everyone else should have them by the end of '08.

They "should" be added in Ct. in the next few weeks.

Actually, those 400-600Mhz systems probably have them already.

At least the one in NW NJ does.

pplchamp1 let us know that these channels"should" be added in Ct. in the next few weeks."

Cool -- any info on other additions coming to the CT 400-600 Club -- such as the Branford system?

We need SNY-HD for the Mets playoff run!

They just added Speed and FX HD here in SW Florida (Port Charlotte) along with AMC and Fox News on the 9th. That takes us to around 39 HD channels not including OnDemand.
