| New User - Bandwidth Measured Monthly?
Hello Everyone,
I just got Cogeco Standard installed yesterday and since its close to the end of the month I'm wondering if my bandwidth meter will be reset on Aug 31st or whether they would measure monthly from the date of my install, ie: Aug 25 - Sept 24?
I'm assuming I can just download like a madman for the next 6 days and then start fresh next month?
By the way for the Cogeco staff reading this, I think you provide a great service but I am very unhappy with the unreasonably low 60GB cap for standard. I consider myself a moderate downloader (60-80 gigs a month) and in this modern age of high definition content and media streaming being available on the net I think you need to raise them. I was previously a grandfathered "Unlimited" Symptatico longtime user and dsl is not available at my new place yet. I will however switch to Teksaavy as soon as it is available unless Cogeco gets with the program and makes the caps more realistic. |

It is reset on the first day of the calendar month, so next reset occurs Sept 1, 2008 00:00:01 EDT. -- you can lead a horse to the water but you cannot make him drink...you can put a man through school but you cannot make him think --ben harper
