Yeah i wish all other oneies haves those kind of speeds
yeah but the price is very to high.

You should check this out i think this the best satellite
broadband in the USA i wish hughesnet went to 4mbps that
high.You got see it but for price it's too much.

I think they are an iDirect VAR.

For gaming I imagine it would be slightly better than wildblue was in 2005 when pings were in the 600-700 ms range. This should deliver low 600's. Still very high for gaming, but possibly workable.

Also for the $999/month plan I'd far rather have a T1 line. Sure the skycasters plan offers a gaurantteed rate of 2.55 Mbps/896 Kbps (maximum speed of 4.09Mbps/1.5Mbps) for $999/month but you only get 15 GB for that price so you really can't download or upload huge volumes... so do you really need a few large files that fast? And for browsing, vpn, ssh, web development, gaming, etc. a 1.5 Mbps T1 line would run circles around it. Of course, I suppose there are areas so remote that T1s simply aren't available, or for mobile uses this would be premium.
