|  Good decision to maintain rendering speed
Please continue to err on the side of performance when exploring possible page tools. Nothing is more frustrating while browsing than pages that pause and stutter instead of just flashing up on the screen. Right now, the only delays seen at BBR are the ones where obvious database queries are taking place. Other types of delays are not needed.

| I don't think many of these widgets worth putting on this site. Maybe because I'm not on board with the whole "Web 2.0" hype, but they don't really fit with the the whole nature of the board. DSLR has always been a simple, fast site with a custom message board software. I highly doubt many people are going to be using these widgets.
I don't need off-site bookmarking because we already have a good sitemark system here. The flash pie-graphs were neat at first, but I doubt I'll be using it again.
If you want to integrate with some social networking sites, though, I'd suggest putting a simple "digg this" link to news stories. |
