I've had this service since it was AT&T Wireless, ''upgraded'' to Cingular, now we're under the AT&T banner again. Two phones sharing minutes (50.00 + 9.99) and Laptop Connect (59.99). Motorola V3XX and Nokia-something. Tethering the Moto to computer and using the Edge network (3G unavailable here). Had Hughes satellite under old dial-return system but service went bad late last year. DSL/cable/WISP unavailable here in the boonies. Surprisingly, I get 4 out of 5 bars of service, located in a valley, mountains all around. Speeds usually around 140 Kbps down and 40 up. Sure, I'm jealous of speeds some get with their wired services, but this works for me. Price for the speed is alot more than wired, but I was paying about the same for Hughes (39.99 for satellite/$17 dial-up ISP.
Now if 3G was available here, I'd be doing a happy dance.
