Horrendous customer support system if you only get the internet from them (I assume it is better if you are in their home phone database because you get sent their first no matter what). They send you to several phone banks in several countries and states and put you on hold and when they transfer you they never know why or who you are when they finally pick up. It doesn't have to be this way, but TWC is the same way.
Worst point though is false advertising. They offer 768k, 1.5mbps, 3.0mbps, and 6.0mbps down speeds and I took the fastest offered for my location, the 3.0mbps but after letting it warm up for a few weeks, I tested the speeds at irregular intervals and found that it never breached the 1.5mbps limit eventhough I was paying for 3.0mbps. I wouldn't have complained if I was getting 1.7 or 2.1 or something that didn't clearly suggest that they had just made an error and capped me at the wrong tier, but after going through a lot of tech support people and even having them have to call me back after tests and put me on hold after calling me, they finally agreed to uncap my line to the full 3.0mbps.
Now I get 1.9 to 2.5, and maybe some time I might see something like 2.8 if I'm lucky, but probably not.
Still, it is better than TWC because I haven't lost a connection while playing a game or streaming music or videos and I haven't lost DNS or any of the typical problems I have had with cable, so I think the slower speed is worth it if you aren't trying to stream HD, which right now I'm not.
Also, I really like the month to month contract because with cable it is BS how much they charge for setup and cancellation which in my case there are no fees, just the monthly bill.
