Very slow to respond to calls. Their outside on the street wiring was bad, along with 3 of their modems.
Okay, I finally broke down and got ATT uVerse. Beats the hell out of cable!..

| Slow to respond You're lucky a maintenance technician responded at all. I was told that I was the only one complaining and that the maintenance technicians were spread thin, therefore no one was likely to respond to my problem. That was for internet problems. A couple of years later I was trying out their HD TV programs. They were freezing and pixelating. They told me that they had INGRESS problems on their cabling on the street. TWO tickets were turned in for maintenance techs. Neither were answered and I wasn't able to get an update. It seems that if there aren't enough people complaining to threaten their bottom line (money) they don't want to do anything. It evidently costs too much money to fix ingress problems just to satisfy one customer. I gave them back their HD DVR and switched to Directv. No problems there. I had to re aim the dish for the strongest signal but that was all. I get excellent service from them and don't have to worry about ancient infrastructure with ingress problems with them. | |
