It's middle of 2007 and we are still stuck with only 25 HD channels in Comcast of NJ II/Union system! Fios just started blasting ads on the NYC metro radio talking about the 100 HD channels available!
Price is also ridiculous: 25 dolars/month for The Movie Channel package = 2 linear SD channels and the little that's offered for TMC on Demand, are you kidding me?
And the Key queuing issue with the Motorola DVR? That sucks, it seems like it's a beta product!
Recommendation to anyone looking to move to Comcast of NJ II/Union area of service; Check first if either Fios is available or if you have line of sight to the satellites and only get Comcast just in case all you care for are the locals, then you'd be paying something like 15 bucks/month.
Update as of August, 2008: There's one area that Comcast comes to plate: So far, it's been always adding new HD channels for the major sports events: ESPN2HD right before the Fifa World Cup 06; Uni HD right before US Open in, I believe, 07, maybe 06 and this year, it's preempting Mojo and broadcasting USA HD and it added both the Soccer and Basketball HD channel.
